Biography
Jordy Birch is a Canadian singer-songwriter, composer and audio director from Vancouver, BC. He first came to prominence as a founding member of the alternative rock band Pure — signed to Warner/Reprise Records and produced by Talking Heads' Jerry Harrison. The band earned a Juno nomination and charted on the Billboard Modern Rock chart, with their music featured in Ralph Bakshi's cult animated film Cool World.
Following Pure's run, Birch built a prolific solo career and collaborated on a series of acclaimed projects. His work with Guilty About Girls yielded "Candy Candy," which climbed to #1 on iTunes, demonstrating a rare gift for melody that translates from stadium rock to intimate pop. Throughout, his songwriting appeared on major label releases and earned recognition across North America and Europe.
Today, Birch channels that restless creative energy into original composition and audio direction for the world's most prestigious automotive marques — Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, and Bentley. His work spans global campaign launches, live event atmospheres, and the deep sonic architecture of brand identity, bringing three decades of musical instinct to bear on machines that demand nothing less.
